Breath of Usir is a native AU game set in a fantasy world just starting to delve into technological advances. The game has dark fantasy and science-fiction elements, world-building, a dynamic game world, and plots driven by relationships, reputation, and exploration. The game world will change drastically as a result of player choices and character interactions. Characters will be killed and resurrected throughout the course of the game as part of the overall plot and relationships between characters and Idan's population will be destroyed and rebuilt. So, what if a meme comm was actually an on-going game setting?

Basically, the game would revolve around characters being taken to entertain the "gods" who run the city. (Yes, that again.) Though they're not literal gods. More the self-imposed kind where money=power etc. There would be something of a district system, with the center being for the rich alone, and the outer two rims for everyone else. The whole setting is very much a "them vs us" kind of thing. So no access to the center unless the higher ups want them there. The lower areas would be the general housing/living areas, where characters would stay/live. There's be a middle grounds where they would be able to work to earn the currency of the city and try to buy their freedom.

The gods would also provide monthly events to boost their earnings, but they would all be themed. So one month could be horror, the next sci-fi, the next crack etc. All of it is basically being done to characters to amuse the "gods" while giving characters the chance to earn their freedom.

Characters would also be gain payment for ongoing optional events. From basic things like getting a job, to completing certain tasks. And of course, the money they earn also needs to be used to pay their rent and buy food/clothing/supplies, so there isn't really an easy way out.

Given the way the game would play out, there wouldn't really be room for a metaplot. It'd be very focused on the monthly events, with the possibility of smaller weekly events like the various texting memes (tfln/gen/sexting/etc) taking place each month. Everything is obviously opt-in, with characters "signing up" for each event to earn bonus credits to buy their way out.

IDK, it's just an idea I've been thinking about, so I wanted to see what people though/if there's any real interest.

I'm a simple anon of simple pleasures, and I just want to play a character being completely ruined. I'm open to most settings and kinks, except for pregnancy/breeding, incest, and serious underage (characters less than 16). Non-con, humiliation, violent sex, and sluttification are really what I'm looking for. If we can work out the logistics, gang-bangs or other group sex would be a huge win for me too.

I prefer to play women, and want to play the victim, but I can play a dude if you'd rather and I'm happy to play other parts as well (so long as I get to scratch my victim itch too!)

I can play a canon character (list available on request) or roll up an OC for this. No medium preference but I'm likely to use LA icons. I do have some settings/prompts in mind but they're just starting points and I'm happy to go with just about anything you like.

One character who I'd like to play is a survivor of past sexual abuse. He's very private and usually focused on others before himself, so I doubt it will come up, but if I develop long-term CR, it could. How do I warn people about this so they don't befriend this smol, adorable let-me-help cutie and then get blindsided by the shit in his backstory?

I'm new to DWRP - part of the migration from tumblr - and on tumblr I had a Before You Follow page that laid out the warnings for people to make sure they knew the backstory of said character before we threaded. Is there a DW equivalent to this? I would never, ever want to spring this on someone or trigger a survivor of CSA, so while I know trigger warnings are frowned upon by some people on DW as being a ~*~tumblrina~*~ thing, I'd still like to know what the accepted way of warning people is so I can implement it and ensure a safe experience for my fellow RPers with as few nasty surprises to them as is humanly possible.

josei, bl, or female-friendly seinen series preferred but other categories are fine as long as the writing is good

no hentai/ecchi or super depressing series

no series more than two years old unless it's an obscure manga because i'm probably already familiar with it

How long do you give mods to answer a question or message before gently prodding them? I sent one a few days ago and heard nothing back. Since this matter is a time-sensitive one, I'm a little antsy since they haven't responded, and sent another one. Now I'm second-guessing and wondering if I'm coming off as annoying or pushy.

Mods will usually say how long they'll take in a contact page. If not, consider how fast the game pace is or if you've spotted them elsewhere like on plurk.

Typically, I think 48 hours is enough time for a "we heard you and are working on it" response at the least. Your question could have easily just dove under their email's radar so sending another after a few days isn't a big deal, anon.

i haven't been motivated to rp lately because of health issues but i feel like certain people will assume i'm making a mountain out of a molehill. or simply being a hypochondriac.

i'm dealing with shit that legitimately runs in my family so it's not like i googled "causes of coughing" and am now freaking out about possible lung cancer.

advice, anons? it's nothing terminal but it can affect my immune system. not fun.

I often end up denying myself CR I would like to have because the characters I want to tag already have a bunch of other responses from other people. I have a habit of only trying to tag characters in memes and stuff who have few to no responses because I'm usually in that same position so I understand how it feels.

But in truth, I really want to be garbage and tag the popular people, but I'm always too intimidated to do so.

Anyone else have this problem?

Hey anons, how do you feel about someone editing a tag hours or even a day or two after the fact? Does it always come off as pushy to you, even if they add a comment as to why they edited? Cause sometimes I leave out details on accident that I don’t think of until later.

nah, if there's something actually changing in the comment it's cool. esp if it's grammar fixes or whatever. doubly cool with explanation included

i'd start to get kind of exasperated if it's like an edit a day for multiple days or something, mostly on account of the spam and because if you're having to do it 4+ times, in succession or over days, it probably really is starting to be a matter of being pushy instead of actually wanting to fix something
