is there anyone out there with ideas for a horror game that isn't deerington and doesn't involve zombies? i miss horror games and i want them to make a comeback pls.

i had an idea for a game, lemme run it by you

you find yourself in a city - i'm willing to fudge with the how and why, maybe you came there of your own volition, maybe you were tricked, maybe you wandered down the wrong hallway, whatever. it looks like a perfectly normal city with modern buildings, bustling crowds, motor traffic. to someone from 20th century earth, it appears quite mundane.

but there are hints that something is amiss within minutes of your arrival. the citizens seem tense and on edge. no one is hostile or even overtly rude, but you can sense that there is something they're trying to hold back, an animal savagery only barely held in check and ready to tear loose with little provocation. they glance distractedly toward a certain point of town throughout the day, and if you follow the direction of their gaze you will find the crowds, and the tension, intensify, until you reach a lone structure - a small room built of sturdy brick, with a firm concrete foundation and a heavy door marred on its outer face with dings, dents, and the marks of clawing fingers.

here it is a free-for-all as otherwise civilized human beings battle each other frenziedly in an effort to reach the mysterious structure. their desperation is palpable as they bludgeon, wrestle and manhandle one another trying to get just a step closer to whatever lies behind the closed door. perhaps you take your leave of this place, having no desire to remain in the presence of such brutality, but you will be back eventually. everyone comes here, sooner or later. they have no choice.

for the room that everyone is fighting over? contains nothing more fantastic than a toilet and sink. it's a bathroom. the only bathroom in this town.

psychological/body horror, experiment based

it is really in the polishing stages, all ideas are sorted out for the most part. it's just a matter of writing all the little stuff and aesthetics coding because if it's ugly, it won't fly no matter how interesting it sounds unfortunately
