so who's finished babylonia? what surprised you and what did you like?

i honestly ended up liking a lot of characters i was previously meh on before based on design (eresh, medusa lily, quetz) just from how the story portrayed them

also caster gil was pretty great, and i felt like his story in this chapter was pretty well-rounded

Definite spoilers here, main bad guy talk/plot overview/character death mentions.

I thought it was incredible. I was skeptical about Casgil going in because I find the discourse in fandom over how he's sooo much better than his Archer counterpart exhausting but he really was handled well and I loved the insight into his post-quest reign and personality. Lots of great juicy background details about Uruk and its people too. And poor Siduri, she really gave it her all for her king. :'(

I couldn't really get into Quetz or Taiga but Ishtar and Eresh were absolute gems as well, I rolled Ishtar and can't wait to reunite the sisters next year. I think Camelot may have had a few better GET HYPE moments but I enjoyed Tiamat on the whole ~~am I the only one who finds all her designs super cute~~ more as a villain even if I would've liked to see a bit more insight into her final fall... though given her nature as a Beast that might've gone against authorial intent, so.

Overall a very strong 8.5 from me. Even Kingu grew on me, and I hated the guy at first. Very much looking forward to the final Singularity now to wrap things up, and Archer Gil is getting all the Grails to make up for his hard work (saving my next 4* ticket for Casgil most likely so this will have to do until he comes home).

i’m on my iPhone so keeping this shortish, but Babylonia had the most satisfying ending of all the singularities thus far. the story was compelling to really make it feel like it was a race against the clock. i was surprised when [spoilers] had an icon on the map and it became terrifying when they got closer and closer to the city.

medusa had my favorite storyline in the chapter with Kingu following second. fsn medusa was my favorite servant from the originals and i am mighty bias there, but kingu’s development and character here really broke my heart out of nowhere.

i really, really hope Kingu gets a Jalter treatment eventually because i would roll in a heartbeat

and when you could see [spoiler] moving in the background of some fights....so cool!!!

the way they used story to be relevant in the chapter fights was so good

when their movements caused earthquakes, i was not prepared for that to make your team set up switch around completely. the use of the storyline for battle mechanics really made that part of the singularity great
