Unrelated, but it amazes me how many people can't see that the night warrior eyes aren't black. They're dark blue.

they're also comparing her to illidan. because the dark side of the moon and demonic energy are so clearly the same thing.

If you don't like PvP, I'd advise against doing the Night Warrior questline for now. Horde controls Darkshore this warfront cycle, since, you know, they kind of took it over.

Horde controlling it doesn't affect the questline at all. Get on your mount right away, fly to your goal, wait to de-flag to do the tiny bit at zoram strand. The rest is scenario instanced. The big bad hordies can't get you with literally 5 minutes of patience.

The scenario's terribly written, with the nelves not really accomplishing anything and Tyrande's new powers being pretty underwhelming. Nathanos has impenetrable plot armor, that part's nothing new.

At least the new customization's cool. And if you're worried abut being in a hostile warzone, don't be. Just mount up and fly out to Ashenvale; I doubt any Hordies are going to chase after you.

what salts my sardines is how we couldn't even be allowed to kill belmont off. this guy's really important enough to be kept alive?

he's what, an occasional questgiver? just about as important to the story as the two nelves that were actually killed.

that bothers me, and my main is horde. ffs belmont's of no importance. i can understand not killing nathanos, but this dude? there's no reason to keep him around except for blizz laying the plot armor on extra thick.

all the nelves really gain from this little adventure is fancy new eyes, nothing else.

On top of that, he was a quest giver in Silverpine Forest. So yeah, really a throwaway character of no importance at all.

I figured Nathanos would survive. If and when we get to kill him, it'll probably be as a raid boss before (or alongside) Sylvanas.

in case anyone was wondering, the night warrior stuff works for death knights. i don't know about demon hunters, since i'm too lazy to go drag my dh to the barbershop right now.

if i didn't like my rotten green skin and hollow cheeks so much i'd night warrior-ify my dk.

i mean, "instrument of a god's wrath" seems like a pretty good gig for an undead murder machine. also a nice way of seeking atonement in her eyes.

but isn't that tyrande's 'gig' now? she's the night warrior, not your character.

did you do the scenario yet? maiev talks about night warriors when she's explaining the legend. also, there's a sentinel npc in darkshore with night warrior coloring: https://ptr.wowhead.com/npc=148037/athil-dewfire. there may very well be more.

it seems to be open to any nelf who can survive the ritual. elune can apparently have as many avatars of vengeance as she likes.

it's warcraft. they're making this shit up as they go along.

tbf the night warrior was only a side-note in the lore for a long time. i used to use it as the reason for playing a nelf shadow priest before blizz went "lol you're all old god cultists now".

they haven't really done much with it, so they can just make it up as they go.

Since they said it works for all existing night elves, that should mean DHs too. You know, if you want to be a DH with eyes.

Me, I'm staying with my unnerving felfire eyes. I slapped the Night Warrior skin on my hunter.
