rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Someone approached me for a ship but they take several days to reply to each of my plotting comments, and in the meanwhile, don't seem to have issues quickly plotting or threading with other cr. They said they're anxious, but idk. I'm wondering if they're disinterested despite the typical assurances that they're excited to start playing with me.

Even if I know I didn't do anything wrong, feels bad, man.

if its only a few days it could be that this ship is really special to them and they're either self-doubting everything they write and triple checking to make sure its 'right' or they're only replying when they're in the right 'mood' so they can give the best answers. If they approached you I think you're safe that they want to play it. Hang up is probably on their end of things. Just figure they're a slow tagger and enjoy what you get (and stop looking at their replies to other people. Other people aren't you and the CR isn't yours. Of course its going to be different and you're digging yourself an unnecessary hole by playing 'compare and contrast' over apples and oranges)

Thing is, we have yet to thread. It's only been a few comments of ooc greeting and plotting, or else I can understand the need to triple check everything. It's been a while now (and I've already poked them once about it to see if they were still interested), so I'm assuming I've been ghosted by this point.

Otherwise, you're right. I'll keep that in mind for the future. Thanks, anon.
