at least two people reported the boatgate post and this isnt the first time haze has caused problems. i wouldn't be surprised if the mods gave the player another talking to and then she decided to drop.

that pa ooc edit did not help her case either. she should have known better after the name stuff but she kept pulling the same stunts.

what other issues has haze caused? i've been around for a time and the only problem i've ever seen people have was this tree/boat thing.

aside from being wildly ooc they tried pretty hard to interject themselves into the save name plot

pretty sure it was all handled pretty quietly

let me elaborate on the save name plot

the save name plot was 100% player run. the players running it were open to any characters getting involved, though since the plot had to be hidden from the gods, icly the plot was kept hush-hush. some characters had openly sided with the gods, included curufin, but haze wanted curufin to get in on the save name plot anyway even though he had no ic reason to be there.

afaik the plot organizers tried to work with haze to come up with a way to get curufin involved even though he blatantly wanted to destroy name. haze wasn't cooperative and instead tried to shove curufin into multiple parts of the plot despite no characters trusting him and despite him not having the skillset to be involved in the way that haze wanted him involved. (for example, curufin wanted to head up the effort to repair name (a robot, btw,) even though curufin's only qualifications were jewelrysmithing; other characters had more experience with robotics and were also vetted by the characters running the show).

not to mention haze didn't actually participate in any of the ooc organization and plotting efforts - she just had curufin show up in the log. it was handled quietly because the players running the plot sorted it out and maybe got the mods involved though i can't speak to that since i don't know for sure.

aside from this and the save name plot, haze also has a long history of ic/ooc bleed in the form of awkward, clearly-aimed-at-the-player comments in their introspection. and of course curufin always has to be the best at everything even when it makes no sense that he'd be a master gunsmith or know how to repair complex alien robots with only smithing experience.

basically they've been a problem player for a long time, just nothing ban-worthy.
