You arrive in a forest that you weren't in moments ago. You explore and find strange buildings you've never seen, only...they seem so familiar. And a whisper in your mind in a voice not your own says something strange...

Welcome, Spirit. We have brought you back from death to our haven, The Krimmenos. We are sorry, but you may not leave--not if you wish to stay alive.

Why were you welcomed back to life? Did you really die? How else would you have gotten here? And yet, searching your memories yields nothing- you were there, and now you're here. Rudely interrupted, even. This has to be a dream...and yet it feels so real...

But is it truly that bad a place? And if these...Orpheads really did bring you back from death, can they truly be so bad? Sure, this isn't home, but it could be worse.

You could be dead.

The Krimmenos is a community-based pan-fandom RP based on the Greek myth of Orpheus. Characters arrive as newly-revived spirits immediately following their death in their own world, though they don't remember it. These spirits are caught in the middle of a battle between their hosts--the Orpheads--and Death Himself.

Players will participate in various plots ranging from humor to horror and there will be opportunities for player-suggested events and plots with active NPCs running things behind the scenes and interacting with players.

Sentinel and Guide Meme: The Game

I think it'd be awesome if someone took the basic concept of the sentinel and guide meme and worked it into a game. People being pulled in could find themselves suddenly being Sentinels or Guides or just normal people (or it'd be interesting as an AU maybe.) And then like the initial mingling threads could be Unbound parties where people can try to find their partner or sentinels can talk to other sentinels and bad life choice or guides can talk hardest lives and shit. And normal people can either be jealous or celebrate the free food or whatever.

It'd sort of be slice of lifey but maybe someone can come up with an awesome overarching plot or something great for events. Maybe they end up switching roles for a week. Or everyone is powerless. Or. Something. idk. This is why someone else should make this happen.

Mm, so a while back I idled out of this game twice because of some serious personal shit that came out of nowhere. I've since dealt with it and I really want to get back into roleplaying, but I'm worried because of my past actions people will think I'm just gonna idle and flake again. I really, really want to rejoin, though! :( Would you judge someone for that kind of thing if it was something they couldn't control? Would you be happy to have them back? Etc... I just get really worried...

i used to be in the kingdom hearts fandom and i remember exactly two fandom things about it.

1. an au where Roxas is fat and eats at McDonald's and Axel works there too.
2. A really try-hard and edgy AU fic where all the characters (sans Disney ones of course) lived together in a post apocalyptic world where people took a drug that turned them into cannibals and Axel ate Roxas.

Anons, there is this one person in my game who is constantly embarrassing themselves oocly about ic matters and I can't really tell if I want to help them or to just tell them to shut up, already. It's painfully obvious that this person really wants to play an ingame ship out, and they keep mentioning it and mentioning it incessantly to the same characters who they think might be suitable, and nobody is interested. Nobody wants to hear it. ICly, the characters aren't attracted to this person's character, who is described by said mun as being shy, reserved, and awkward. Not exactly the type for wild sexcapading. The mun is literally the only person who seems to think that this character is an absolute sex god, and they constantly complain about how their character will never get some, will never have their feelings returned... It's like the mun pretends they aren't in complete control of their character's actions- the character keeps developing these deep emotional bonds with people that they "don't understand," and the character bumbles around like an idiot about it, and nothing comes from it. It's the mun's bad luck, the character's bad luck... It's like they deserve this CR just because they exist. This person isn't explicitly blaming anyone for anything, but it just all rubs me the wrong way.

The kicker? This person tags like a snail. It's so slow that the chances of building any sort of actual CR are slim to none. So... I can't really tell if they're an entitled whiner or someone who just doesn't really understand how this stuff works. Thoughts?
