Hiya! This is actually a PAIR of anons looking for a place for these losers. We're trying to find something that isn't Slice of Life/Horror or Amnesia and that's proving...difficult.

So if anyone has suggestions, that would be great! We'd like something with a slow to medium pace and we're open to sex games as long as there's plot? Plot is nice.

Have you considered apping to

zodion? It's Slice of Life (and a sex game) most of the time but is undergoing a plot reset at the moment but has been rather plot heavy in the past. Characters are placed in houses of the four elements based on their astrological sign. Every month the "god" of that astrological sign checks in and gives everyone whose birthday is in that month a card to do a specific happy hour act.

Characters having sex "builds" the world and gives the gods power. Whether or not the gods are good or evil is ambiguous and there have been invasion/war plots in the past where Zodion has been invaded and the gods were targeted. IDK if they're still going with this after the plot reset, but I know they wanna be plot heavy regardless.

It's pretty ship friendly if you guys wanted to ship together, and it seems pretty welcoming to those who are willing to get their feet wet.

I think we'd work for you pretty well at

tushanshu if that seems to your taste. I know I'd definitely tag both of you!

TS is sort of a mix of fantasy / sci fi / action meta plot and intermittent periods of slice of life, but the game setting is very interactive for characters so it prevents most of the normal tedium associated with SOL. I'd call us medium paced shading toward fast during major events, but we have a heavy game preference for back tagging that should enable you to be slow without any difficulty getting CR.

One of the recent previous rpanons post also contained a good guide to how to write a setting section if you end up wanting to app. I think it was the last one in the TS thread.
