I'm beginning to think that the slice of life complaints circling this game are thanks to a bunch of game characters not using what they're given. The winter wonderland log is dead as a doornail and the only person that bothered to ask about organization did it like right at the end of the event. I don't feel like there's anything wrong with slice of life but I definitely think it's a waste of good opportunities that the mods are leaving for us to play with.

This event had a ton of sign ups, someone else might have done more with it so I could be wrong it's just not the first time I've noticed good things being handwaved off and that makes me sad.

That would make more sense to me if there was any real crossover between the roster drawn for the winter wonderland stuff and the people who were on the teams for the mutiny. There's only three people who did both and tbh the mutiny heavy stuff has all been finished for over two weeks.

The scouting log is kind of stupid, anyway. It's dangerously similar to the game-wide mission events from the spring that everyone was complaining about recently. This log is basically just player plots for a select few people to do in the interim while we're all waiting to get back onto the moon. It's not like the players were given any sort of direction on what to do, and considering how slow and backtag-focused this game is, is it a surprise that not much has happened in a week or so?

Yes, this, lots of people are dealing with finals too. it was probably just the timing more than anything.
