excited to see a game like this!

the two characters i'm deciding between right now are both female so it doesn't currently affect me but:

you said you're going for an even gender balance, how even are we looking at? for example is gender balance something that'll be enforced if there are 1 or 2 more apps for one gender than the other, or is it just to prevent really lopsided imbalances? basically: at what point should appers start to worry about gender (or caste) imbalance?

I mean, ideally it'd be great to have a perfect balance (ie: 6 and 6, 12 and 12, etc) but a difference of 1 or 2 would definitely be possible. But to give a clear answer, we're trying to aim specifically for half and half with genders and avoid anything that tips too far from half and half. So if we have an even number, we'll strive for equal on both sides. If we have an odd number somehow, one side will get a +1. (So much up in the air, though...!)

As for caste: having any caste make up more than 1/3 of the total (ie: if 12 trolls, no more than 4 lumped together) would be too many. Two of a kind isn't bad, because that can be worked with (ie: No Jade, but two Olives, etc).
