Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Reserves are open. Applications are open. The game will open December 12th at 12:01AM EST.

How far do the ripple effects of a changed timeline spread?

What happens when something is changed in a timeline? Perhaps the prince marries a peasant instead of entering a forced marriage. What happens to the offspring that might have been? To the people who might have been affected had the timeline not been changed? Cousins, brothers and sisters; villages; towns; cities; entire empires. Who knows how such a small, apparently insignificant change could affect the future of that timeline? Where do the people who would have existed otherwise go? Do the timelines split?

The short answer is simple: no, the timelines do not split. The discrepancies from the "true timeline" come here, to a place ruled by eleven celestial entities.

So why are you here? You know the answer already, don't you? Something changed the course of your timeline and erased your very existence. What will you do here? That's up to you. Band together under a celestial house and reap the rewards of victory. Step on the other celestial houses to take that victory if you must.

Work together or against one another. Teamwork is commendable, but there can only be one ruling celestial house. Work to right your timeline and you may be able to return to it alive and well. Failure to win will result in you spending the rest of your immortal life here for all eternity.
