rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

God I still, to this day, want to write some kind of Zoids fanfic I just can never settle on what. The interesting aspect to me was how full of holes the worldbuilding was and it was inconsistent across different aspects of the franchise, and I kept wanting to solidify my headcanon and make one setting for myself.

...I just like worldbuilding okay. Something about the setting was really compelling to me for NO DISCERNIBLE REASON and I've wanted to make an rpg setting out of it for a long time.

My involvement was when I was like... 12 and lying about being 13. I hung out with people on Ferrum Bestia, which was kind of the rip-off-y half-cousin of MMM run by a dude who was dissatisfied with it or something. I never really understood the heart of that drama, I just hung out on FB because I wasn't required to use AIM. (Which I wasn't allowed to have. Ah, my youth.)

I am to this day super sad I can't reread Zinou's fanfiction. I totally understand her reasons for taking it down and how it's old-shame-y and she wants to move on, but even then I just really enjoyed it anyway and organooooiiiiids.

Never really hung out in the fandom much while it was still alive. ZE like... exists but is really dead. Most of the interesting stuff I see that's relevant anymore is on Tilly's site, and the biggest deal for most folks these days is the high end master model kits.

...Also I RPed this kid for a while. It was fun and I kind of miss his completely failing to notice his beloved giant robot is a murderous rage machine.
