WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR

★ Exploration fantasy with a side of action/adventure, good horror but nothing to do with ghosts or hell, a good scifi game, anything that is different but not overly complicated. Stands out but is easy to understand. I come across a lot of games and I'm like this looks neat! Then I start reading the faq and mechanics and understand nada. It frustrates me. I do need a good story, I do like getting involved in event logs and the like and branching out to play with other people.

★ I welcome crossover shipping, well as castmate shipping but het only please. I got out of slash years ago because of the toxicity. I promise this not me bashing, I just don't feel comfortable in that realm anymore and I never will again. End of. Boop.

★ But I too also heavily support friendship, enemies and other types of interesting relationships.

★ Medium paced activity requirements and yet boy aren't we tagging today! I have a lot of time on my hands. I do. I do. I get bored, I want to write with others.

★ Okay, so, I need a light app, that isn't too heavy handed. I am capable of writing long winded apps. Capaaaaaaable. I've done it but sometimes I want to analyze a character as I play and I sorely miss those days of somewhat organic development. So light app, lax mod rules about apping. I also welcome no apps as well. I promise, I write the wells, man.

★ No games that are longer than a year old or huuuuuuuge. I know that sounds nuts, but I hate that I've missed so much story. It makes me sad and irritated. I want to be there near the beginning, where I'll be staying for a long time. I get very shy and backwards with games with a lot a players. So something small/medium/ or brand new.

★ Games that allow fandom ocs, the use of fandom AU, and fandom OU. Previous game history is a no go but I don't care if you have it. I'm a dreamwidth noob still sometimes, so yeah. I also enjoy developing and playing the teens from FFVIII a few years older, different yet still relatively the same. So, yeah, that's the AU part for me right now.

I really want to start a game based on Infinity Train but there's already a train based game. It would be pretty different from Voidtrecker, aside from the whole infinite train setting, but I still feel like I'd be infringing.

How do you deal with losing passion for a character you were playing? I feel like all of the options have been exhausted with them and that I've explored every corner of their personality, and writing them, for lack of a better word, just isn't as exciting or engaging any more - but I don't want to just jump ship, either.

Looking for a woman with dark hair and blue eyes, pale-to-lightly tanned skin. Mid-to-late teens (or someone that could pass for late teens) and period/fantasy clothing is ideal. She generally has her hair in braids, but any style/length could work and is described as pretty enough, but not beautiful.

Caught the tail end of the last post! A buys B, a robot, and either immediately or eventually, they bang. Looking to possibly lean into the D/s-y behavior/sensory modification side of things (e.g. A raising or lowering B's pleasure threshold, messing with how he experiences pain, altering his senses, etc.) but it's not necessary. A few ideas:

- A buys B, a robot designed for some nonsexual function (accounting, tutoring, something mundane) and, after A eventually falls for him, he has him modified to be suited for sex. B can be all for this or begrudgingly willing.

- A hates robots but somehow finds himself in the possession of B (he won one or was gifted one), who–despite A's apparent disinterest–seems to be particularly determined to fulfill his purpose, which is sex.

- Alternatively, a slightly darker route: A deals with his long-standing crush on B (a friend, enemy, stranger, whomever) by buying a robot replica of him, in looks and personality–who wakes up fully convinced he's the real thing.

I'd prefer to play the robot, although I'm more flexible on that second scenario. I'll probably use an iconless OC or a LA canon. PM this account if you'd like to talk more!

Anons, how do I stop worrying about whether I’m being fair to all of my RP partners? I know jealousy is a thing, but I don’t want people thinking I don’t value their CR if I boomerang with a castmate once in a while, and I don’t want people to think I’m not enjoying their threads as much as someone else’s. I wanna be as fair as possible but I know I’ll probably hurt somebody’s feelings eventually.

Would you say that text-based online RP is largely a Millennial hobby?

I distinctly recall doing forum-based RP back in grade school, and I know some older RPers will remember MUDs from the early days of the internet, but what about the older and younger generations? Both those who grew up before the internet became so entrenched in our society and those who were born into the smartphone age? How many of them participate in text-based RP, do you think?

if i was looking for a dream daddy i'd want a short guy, doesn't have to be in shape but healthy and hygienic, likes video games but knows when to put the controller down, likes cuddling more than sex or has a very low sex drive like me, similar socio-political ideologies preferably, doesn't want to get married and doesn't want kids except the furry four-legged kind. or scalie kind. or feathered kind.

should i drop my game? my cast seems to have a good time and all plot with me and each other enthusiastically, but they rarely tag me and when we do have threads it's one tag a week or less, and i'm frustrated with the consistent flaking
