Rundown:
rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.

(Anonymous) 2019-09-08 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)On one hand, there's no way to tell if your mod team are all high key wankers that might blow up the games with drama but on the other it could bring minds together that might otherwise not interact, which could be really refreshing on how mod perspective works. We already know modding together can ruin friendships, that comes with its own risks. it would be a very small game with player cap.
Kind of worried people might think this is some ploy from the game ads person after reading that drama though.

I like it in theory but it seems like an accident waiting to happen in practice. I think in this environment there'd be a lot of crying that such a set up would "force" players to play blindly against people who make them feel uncomfortable since they don't know who anyone is. People like plotting on plurk and discord and talking about their games, that would really limit tag commentary and enabling, wouldn't it?
Ultimately, that sort of thing would be up to mod vote as I don't want to run a game by myself and think everyone should have a fair chance to weigh in on something that extreme.
It seems really cool for a murder game style short and fast rp but I'm not sure it matches what I have in mind here.

Event post goes up privately for review.
Someone comments:
"Read the event post, fixed a few typos."

Or in a to-do list post
"Taken list updated 9/9 2:34 PM"
- List Mod
"Reserves opened"
- orange mod
whatever they're calling themselves
Private communication through plurk could be done on the mod account in a similar fashion, everyone signing off on their responses but that sounds unnecessarily complicated.
