rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

your game does interest me tbh! i've really enjoyed melodies because of the themes going on and im sure yours will have a lot of the same but with an entirely new spin. despite the similarities, it still sounds pretty cool. i'm gonna keep an eye on this place in the hopes i'll have the time to app in the future!

I have plenty of ideas, but not exactly like melodies. A good portion of plot is kingdom hearts based but for all characters involved. And that would be lovely.

Thanks, but I have a question. I haven't gotten any reserves yet and that maes me go blah but I'm sticking by it. Could the stat activity deal be throwing everyone off? I understand if it might, but I'm curious. I'm still quite new to dreamwidth in terms of rp tbh.

im not sure what you mean by stat activity but i dont think it's any one thing that's the problem. a lot of people made some good points in the critic post you made above but i guess i can add to that

- the game itself feels very unfinished, like a rough draft. for instance, on your info pages, you have broken links at the top of all of them. i understand that you probably intend to add links later for pages that aren't unlocked yet, but having them there now for no reason just makes it look a little messy. It's things like that. having too much text and being really specific, like in the job page.

i know you're trying to take this in a different direction from melodies, but you can't deny the similarities here. accepting that, take a look at how they handled jobs in MoL and MoE. it's organized by not complicated, allowing players to have a lot of creative freedom and wiggle room.

- the advertising hasn't been enough. i only first heard about this game a few days ago when i commented here and rpanons is the only place i've heard of it so far. posting to emp and getting a plurk will create more buzz, like others have said, but while you're making this game look a little more polished, you can allow more breathing room for players to find the game.

- it's pretty clear that you're the only mod. again, looking at melodies, it's become a pretty small game but there's still at least 3 mods that i know of. i dont know about anyone else, but that's one of the downsides for me, at least giving me another reason to wait and see how things play out before i consider the tdm or reserving or anything like that

mostly just refine it some more, advertise a bit, mingle with players via other means than an anoncomm, and be patient. i know you mentioned that you left melodies because you didn't have enough time to play and you never joined back in again. you're probably have a lot more free time now but if you don't have enough time to play in a game, you'll never have enough time to mod one
