how is rping villainous characters in this game, especially someone who has an agenda in canon? in-game i wouldn't do anything that would force people to acknowledge any incident they don't want, but i'm also very open to negative cr and don't mind doing things that get me neg cr. basically i'm considering a lower stakes game and am willing to adapt my character's effectualness to that, but would it still be too weird?

my character's a major villain and still pursuing his agenda in prismatica, so it's definitely doable (and fun tbh)! he's also straight up weird, and i get lots of play with him!! go for it, anon.

thanks anon, that's good to know! out of curiosity, would you say your character's agenda primarily affects individuals or does it have the possibility to stretch into societal influence? if it's the latter, how have you handled it?

I'll be honest, it's not even societal so much as universal fuckery with him. I haven't done anything game breaking yet since a lot of the action of his plan requires blood sacrifices and specific circumstances, and he's still trying to amass that sort of power base and knowledge, but I do mean to ask the mods soon to see how far he can get, if at all.

I play a villain. For me it is a huge goddamn ordeal to get cr.

Why do you think that is? Does your cast tell on them beforehand? Is it how the character is? Some villains thrive in the game because they're charming or chatty.

It also helps to tag back frequently, because there's one villain in the game that replies maybe once every two weeks and I've written them off completely.

I play an antagonistic character and I’m having a great time, I haven’t had any trouble getting positive or negative cr. personally I love to see villains and antagonists in settings like these, like a test to see how well they adapt and whether/how they continue to pursue their original goals
