I'm in two games. I need to drop one because my schedule is getting busier.

The first game I've been in for ages. I've built a great CR network and I just have the best CR I've had in RP for a long, long time. The problem with this game is how demanding it is. I've also come to realise how bad of a fit it is for my RP style. The only reason I could stay in it for so long was because I changed my habits to suit the game.

The second game is just a much better fit for me. I'm having a ton of fun so far. It suits my interests and my pace to a T. I'm much newer in this game as compared to my other game, so I actually have less to lose if I leave. But it's just such a good fit for me that I'm having trouble putting my foot down and dropping from it too.

Which game would you guys drop?

My other option is to balance both. If you guys have tips on how to manage that, that would be appreciated too.

i think i figured out why i hate the "trash garbage" culture on tumblr so much. you know the one where you call yourself trash for liking a thing or character. it's just part of the whole "women aren't allowed to find enjoyment, especially any sort of sexual enjoyment, in stuff". putting yourself down takes some of the "blame" away from your enjoyment.

i really hate memory loss games, personally. i've never been in an au game but i like the idea more than amnesiac ones. as far as surviving, dwrp has proven that to be random as shit.

Would anons be interested in making a masterlist (on Google Docs or something) of what characters within a series call each other? This is probably more for animanga series, but stuff like whether they use first/last name, nicknames, honorifics, etc.

it was actually really helpful, since it also went into detail about which characters used which dialect, which spoke properly vs improperly, what they called each other, etc...

I'd contact them, at least to apologize even if the other party doesn't want to do the PSL anymore. I think too many people get flaked on that they'd rather have that than nothing, although I'm sure plenty will still want to do it.

tmw you really wish all folks listed their preferences after character and canon in the subject line. especially on memes. double especially on smut and ship prompts.

i play a really controversial character, the only one of them ive seen on DW, and want to try them off a character theres no canon interaction with but i think would be interesting. problem is the character im interested in playing off of is canonically straight, though ive seen a lot of gay fic for them around so i know its something some people obviously ship. the majority of the character posts ive found over the last few months never say ship/smut prefs or even just ota.

and yeah, sure, i can ask but since im the only player of my character around im worried id get a 'that so and so' after asking more than a person or two and getting declines.

one, there are no controversial characters openly played on dw anymore, only controversial headcanons. prove me wrong.

two, "that so and so"s usually get reputations because they're either so stupidly persistent that it's funny, or so overdramatic that it's hilarious. most people, whether getting turned down or not, aren't that interesting. you won't be either.

three, this is exactly why we have a "pairings you want to play" thread. it's not that hard to find.

also? lack of punctuation doesn't make your writing style any more anonymous. put your fucking apostrophes in.
