I started rping on a massive forum and it'd been great until I ran into this guy. We decided to hook up our characters who appeared to have chemistry... only for their character to become very possessive of mine and jealous of other men being in the same space as her. I managed to get the guy to agree to splitting them up by using character reasons rather than my own, "Wtf you're creepy." A friend who tried to rp with him in the past said she had a similar experience. When the guy said in a public thread, "I'll be on tomorrow, don't sleep around ;)" with an actual goddamn winky face, I knew I had to end it. What the fuck is wrong with some rpers!?

How do you know when it's time to end a thread? I'm a chronic flake, so I never finish, but I'm trying to change, and I think I've reached the end of a thread. But I honestly can't tell since I never reach this point.

you know when you're starting to get to a lull in what's interesting and start approaching the mundane. or someone leaves or falls asleep. basically need to change the scene to keep it interesting.

you should pm your partner and ask what they think about a next scene, if you do want to keep playing with them.

i don't usually see any actiony memes. i'm not going to ask people to post some but i was wondering what ones there are? i lost all my old threads and i know i had a lot that haven't seen reposts in a really long time and i'd love to maybe make a few posts we don't see often instead of the same few again and again!

terribly, i'm a fan of the last words / dying in your arms memes. they pop up now and then but no one ever really tags them when they do it seems like.

off the top of my head for memes i'd like to see again/more of:

zombie apocolypse, au pic prompt, random scenario, some kind of 'what happens in vegas' meme, anon mistletoe (i think that's what it was called, the one where anons dared your character to kiss someone else), the rescue meme!!

i'unno though, anon. it's hard to find memes people will actually wanna tag in besides the ones we usually see on a constant repeat.

so anons, i know a lot of people tend to play a character for a while and then move on to newer ones as time goes by. people losing interest in a series, bad experiences, losing a voice, etc etc are all fairly common things.

but who is that one character you somehow always come back to? you know, THE one you played the most, eventually stop playing for a couple months and then BAM, you get this itch to do something with them and suddenly they're your heavy hitter again.

since rping this particular LA character, i've been playing out shippy rp threads with her canon love interest, and have since begun stalking both actors' twitter accounts to see if they might be secretly dating and just keeping it on the down-low (i.e. in the same city on the same day, intentionally vague tweets, etc). it's starting to become an obsession (albeit a fun one).

Honestly, that's a smart idea because the person who was nearly a victim of rape could end up doing time if the would be rapist dies. With how often the victim is dragged through the mud and made out to have been leading the rapist on, etc. it wouldn't be a surprise to see the courts paint the victim as a murderer.
