I think most of us are only ever mediocre. It's just if you play fun characters or have fun threads the people you have good character chemistry with won't notice or care. Just like you probably don't notice or care about the mediocrity of everyone else so long as they're fun.

actually, i'm pretty good at RPing. having self-confidence is fun.

What part of my comment said I have no self-confidence? I don't have an inflated idea of my abilities (not to imply you do) but I don't shake and cry or really care that I'm pretty average. Like I said, my main priority is having fun and being fun to RP with, and I'm confident in my ability to do just that.
