I started rping on a massive forum and it'd been great until I ran into this guy. We decided to hook up our characters who appeared to have chemistry... only for their character to become very possessive of mine and jealous of other men being in the same space as her. I managed to get the guy to agree to splitting them up by using character reasons rather than my own, "Wtf you're creepy." A friend who tried to rp with him in the past said she had a similar experience. When the guy said in a public thread, "I'll be on tomorrow, don't sleep around ;)" with an actual goddamn winky face, I knew I had to end it. What the fuck is wrong with some rpers!?

it's kind of hilarious

idk i think they can match up just that there are just waaaay more of them and it's much easier to sneak around because there are so many different sites and subsites where here we could probably spot mike even if he put a genuine effort into being sneaky within a week.

i was in a game a few years ago on dw where a guy did this to me. the character wasn't possessive at all and just hanging around him even at a party and he kept putting his arm around my girl even when she'd walk away and then butting into threads or stalking them ic/ooc and bringing them up later. i think some people don't know have much in their lives and can't separate ic/ooc because of it.
