You're all idiots except for me

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Not plastic surgery, I'm quite happy with my body, but I am considering some biohackery stuff. Magnets in my fingers. Because why improve looks when you can improve functionality?

wouldn't you fuck up electronic devices like touchscreens with magnets? also man, even if not I would nooooot want to fuck around with my hands, considering how many neurons are in our fingertips and how we depend on our sense of touch for object manipulation and the like. I mean, more power to you if you want to risk it, but it sounds like a dumb risk.

I'm still investigating the thing, anon, I might decide it is too risky or has too many side effects. But anyway even if I did it'd only be one or two fingers, not the lot. I am just, very very devoted to transhumanism as an ideology, and I feel like I ought to act on that. Put the rest of me where my mouth is as it were. And there aren't a lot of ways to do it yet.

Also my friend suggested if you're interested in trying magnets (since... I am interested in trying magnets), you can attach small ones to your nails and secure them with nailpolish. A little more temporary than an actual implant, just to see how you like it.
