The last thing you knew, you were going about your business as usual - or perhaps you weren't; either way, it was still the life you knew. The one you were used to, that probably didn't involve waking up on hard concrete inside a rotting building with the smell of urban decay filling your world. When you step outside, the rusting skyline of Seattle, Washington greets you. The city has clearly been abandoned for a few years; yet, as you step into the street, you can hear something moving between the crumbling buildings, skittering over the pavement on insectile limbs. You are not alone. You are not safe. Welcome to Montauk-1 Allende-18, a panfandom survival horror game set in the abandoned remains of late 1970s Seattle. There will be events at regular intervals, but the game is primarily plot- and exploration-driven, and the direction of the plot can and will be strongly influenced by character actions. Something about this city, in this time, in this world, has turned it into a sinkhole in multiversal spacetime; any being that falls through a tenuous patch in their own reality is likely to end up here, and that doesn't just mean sapient, relatively humanlike entities from worlds with internally consistent physical laws. The bottom fell out of the non-Euclidean planes of reality first, flooding the city with improbable, hostile entities that have only thrived here - and whose descendants would rather eat you than each other. The city is surrounded by an impassable barrier, keeping both the monsters and you in - though, that may be pure coincidence, as there seems to be nothing left of the world beyond it, either. And while some of the entities within the city seem like they might be human, it's hard to tell when they open fire on sight. You are not alone. Nowhere is safe. All you can do is keep moving. Nothing, yet. I'm only mid-reminisce in my replaythrough, and I checked if the name was taken and it wasn't.

It'd be cool to play him, but he's pretty similiar visually and in attitude to a character I already play, and I've played Luke from Tales of the Abyss for a long time too and considering Yuri's voice for them is like identical, I don't want to mix up their voices in my head when playing it over my tags... Hard life, man.

Has anyone here successfully changed their RP identity? How did you manage it without tipping people off?

Don't play in the same games, don't use any of the same accounts, if you play from really obscure series, drop those characters all together for at least a couple months. Take a look at cast lists before joining a game. If you recognize one of the players and have had close CR with them in the past app to another cast or choose a different game

I'd love to see a game with changing or themed locations, like exitvoid, taking characters to the forest from the PC game The Path. I think dreaming up what characters could find and what their wolves would be like would be an interesting exercise.
