Anyone else feel incredibly awkward when listening to MTV try to hype the new season up?

It's nice that you want to get people pumped but you're setting yourself a really high goal to reach. And you're going to get so much shit if it doesn't live up to fan expectations.

There is no 'if' in this situation. They're going to get shit when it doesn't live up. MTV is shooting itself in the foot. They should have just dropped off the radar about Teen Wolf until a month or two before the beginning of the next season.

There's always an 'if' where you have a part of the fanbase that boot-licks.

Going to be interesting to see how things go after the first episode. Willing to bet that some people complain and then get dog-piled for having an opinion other than 'it was fantastic'.

So rumour has it that Ian Nelson will be playing younger Derek.

I'm not sure which is harder for me to picture at this point. That or the fact that Derek was once popular.

I've always thought Derek was popular, and probably obsessed with sports and flashy cars and his hair. His baiting of Jackson and his little NO-ONE CARES spiel in co-captain definitely seemed as much like Derek shouting at his younger self as when he gets pissed about Scott thinking he's in love with Allison. No one cares that you have perfect hair! is a little too specific.

Personally i'm going to have trouble thinking of Nelson as a younger Derek.

Just because we know what a younger Tyler looks like and it's clearly not that.

Unpopular opinion.

I don't see the appeal in Danny's character. At least not at the moment. And I know that if I say this anywhere unanon i'll get bitched at for apparently not liking him because he's the canonly gay character.

I just don't think he's got enough personality to be interesting right now though. He's either portrayed as the nice guy that everyone likes, the gay character, or the computer guy.

He has such shit taste in men I really think the running joke should be that if he falls for someone/crushes on someone, they are most likely a murderer/psychopath/etc.

Given that he's going to be hooking up with one of the Alpha twins? Not that far off.

Does itsabestiary need help? The directory is looking dead.
