Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

is there anyway it could be m/m shipping game... that is just m/m friendly? not shipping focused, but an atmosphere that promotes strong intimate bonds with magical boys and military boys?

this game sounds like it's going to be amazing, so i just keep thinking i would kill to have a m/m game like that. dwrp has never had an plot-heavy and engaging of a m/m game like this one sounds like it could be.

i would really strongly prefer the m/m idea, but honestly, i want this game any way you can make it happen.

I'm a big m/m fan, so I'm definitely friendly to male bonding! I just don't want to have the game pigeonholed as "that m/m game," you know? Because as soon as you say something is m/m, it's like shipping is implied, and all the characters are expected to be gay. I like shipping as much as the next rper, but I wasn't going to add in any gimmicks that specifically encourage shipping.

And it's hard to think of a logical reason to not have female characters. I was thinking that a compromise might be to allow AU/OC female characters who are native to the setting, but only allow male OU characters to be brought in from other worlds.

Well, nothing's set in stone! I'm just trying to get a feel for what likely players would prefer.
