I don't call her Derpy myself and won't knock anyone who does, but I tire when her fanon is presented as gospel truth in general). Although now I made myself curious if anyone's roleplayed her not conforming to the common brony fanon.

My headcanon is Derpy is just RD's nickname for her, because as an actual pony name it sounds awful.
