Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

sounds interesting and like it could have enough variety to keep things interesting. I love history settings. Also the amount of events (I'm hoping for Pompeii(or the Rome equilivalent) could vary wildly too. Would you dabble with the old Roman/Greek gods for events or such?

Thanks! I got the idea after visiting, and with people going on about wanting to play somewhere besides a generic American city/dystopic crumbling ruin and the desire for more variety in dressing rooms, I figured it'd be a good springbopard to combine the two. Plus like you said there's a lot that can be done with it.

As for the gods, the dabbling would probably entail incorporating the old festivals and events to add more flavor to the backdrop, like March for instance is dominated by festivals honoring Mars. I probably won't go so far as to NPC them, but their influence would be felt.

Oher notes: duplicates of characters are fine, bringing in game canon is fine, and I'm not going to be a stickler about formatting. This isn't going to be a six-words anything and you can even prose it up if you want, I want it to be someplace people can just chill and play.

sounds like a lot of fun! I'd definitely be up for snooping around and throwing some characters in. I hope you do it, anon!
