Super Robot Wars Unification

SRWU is a small, multi-fandom crossover DWRP inspired by Super Robot Wars, a popular franchise of turn based strategy games based around giant robot combat. In our game, player characters become members or close allies of the Unity Group, an organization dedicated to battling many threats that endanger the Earth Sphere, both internal and external - alien invaders, rampaging monsters, hostile human groups and many more.

In SRWU, events play out not only as DW posts, but also during AIM-run missions - combat operations during which player characters engage enemy forces in battle. Such missions are always scheduled in advance (from a RL perspective, not necessarily an IC one) and usually last 3 hours each, with an average of 2 missions being run per week, 6 to 9 player character combatants present in each mission.

Unlike crossover games that whisk characters away from their canons and place them in a completely new setting, SRWU integrates the characters' canons together - their events play out during the course of the game. However if one so decides, there is an option to app a character without any corresponding canon events.

Although SRWU is a mecha game, non-giant robot canons are accepted if they fit thematically. OCs are also accepted.

Bit of a shot in the dark, but--

Hi! I would really like to do a femslash relationship-building PSL with Rosa here. Her character, in a nutshell: 30-something struggling author by day, ghost detective by night. She has the power to see and talk to ghosts, and her job is to help them move on. She's extremely introverted, awkward as hell, just terrible at people all around, but has a good heart and a good head on her shoulders.

The two main hurdles one would have to deal with when entering a relationship with her: (1) She has a truckload of issues regarding emotional and physical intimacy, which would probably take her a while to work through. (2) She's uh, perpetually accompanied by a ghost dude from the 30's nobody but her can see or hear, and it is physically impossible for them to be more than 30 feet apart from each other. Uh, yeah, awkward. But they can always work something out!

I'd lovingly accept every character as long as they're female and at least in their twenties!

The anti-contraception/anti-abortion movement's goal is not to "promote sexual morality" through law but to force women, especially younger and lower income women to have children. The reasoning behind this is that if you are poorer and don't have a degree and then have a kid, you will need to support this child. To do that you will need to get a job. Since you do not have a degree your employment prospects aren't too good to say the least and you are, by definition, cheap labour. You are desperate to work and you will need to work longer hours to support a child with that low pay.
That's why conservative groups support abstinence only education, oppose easy access to contraceptives and birth control and often oppose abortion for all reasons. After all, a sickly baby is an expensive baby. Religious groups also join in the fray as well. Since the government won't help out (why would they help you raise the child when they want you to be cheap labour), they leave charities to do the work. Guess who runs many of these charities? Churches! After all, they get a constant, tax free income that is well above maintenance costs. They use their resources to help out the impoverished mother and child and while they're at it, they will try and convert them. The child especially. Why? Because a child raised in a church is less likely to deconvert. Boom, they have new believers! Halleluya!

plenty of them do. i've heard of them referred to as spaybortions

there is a cutoff time where doing them is no longer safe for the mother, and some shelters refuse to do them on account of all puppies deserve life or something. but when millions of unwanted animals are euthanized annually by shelters anyway, i don't really see the point of having that mindset.

I've had an idea for an M/M BDSM/role reversal/~forbidden love~ sort of PSL that I've been wanting to play. It's going to sound (and probably be) on the melodramatic side, so bear with me.

My idea is a fairly typical 'rich, powerful, always in control guy prefers being the submissive in bed and seeks out the services of a professional dom' setup, with the dom in question being someone from a lower social class and relatively powerless in his day-to-day life. I'd like it if the dominant/lower class guy knows who the submissive/upper class guy is from the start, but it takes a while for the sub to realize the opposite about the dom.

However, I'd also like there to be an extra level of social taboo built in to the story. Maybe society has especially rigid expectations about sexual roles in bed. Or maybe we could go for a more fantasy-like setting and say that sexual roles relate to how magic is exchanged. Whatever setting we go with, I'd like this to be a story with a lot of tension and the knowledge that if they're ever found out they could both get into very real trouble.

In this case, I'd like to play the dominant character from the lower class! I can also play the sub, but I have a pretty strong preference for the top. I mostly play animanga guys, with a handful of video game (western and Japanese) characters. I find it easiest to tag the same, but I definitely won't turn my nose up at western animation and LA characters!
