rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

everyone is freaking out about a vocal minority but most people on tumblr aren't actually that bad. with a little work they could fit in well here

you cant just get 500+ people to stop doing something they've done for years, over night

I don't think the majority of dwrpers are actually as fucking stupid as we pretend when we start bitching on wg.

What does that have to do with what I said? It's not a matter of being 'fucking stupid,' it's human nature. Even if you can objectively tell something is just more of an asinine ritual than an important thing to remember, it's still hard to break yourself out of the habit and mindset.

DWRP has its own culture, just like any other random niche in the internet, and cultures rarely just wake up and go 'oh, yeah, this is kind of dumb, we should stop doing it.' in one go.

As a tumblr RPer I can say that there are actually some decent writers and people there. You just need to know where to look, and have a way to filter out the bad ones -- such as, for example, applications?
