The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Also +1ing the comment that this is probably the most WTF mod complaint I've ever seen.

I don't really see it as whining, just an observation. A game this heavy in material and NPC interaction is going to be really draining for the mods. Awesome if they make it, but man.

I modded a game like a third the size of this, and with no help from my co-mods I burnt out quick having to get all the info together every month. These mods have help, but the game is so much larger and they're updating a couple times a week sometimes.

It's a lot. I couldn't do it.

dude, there's a middle ground between doing nothing and doing everything you can possibly think of.

because if you try to do everything, you just wind up with a lot of mediocre things due to the necessity of spreading time/attention as opposed to just focusing on a few things to do really, really well

i don't at all agree that's what happening here but this doesn't just apply to modding. it's just a sound principle in general to specialize rather than generalize and risk spreading yourself too thin.

ayrt is concerned about mod burnout, genius.
