Um

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

i work in tech support for a major isp, so when i get people with this exact problem, they threaten to cancel their internet service because "WHY DOES YOUR SERVICE GIVE US SO MANY PROBLEMS??" as if our providing their internet makes them click on all that terrible shit. when i try to explain that the problem will happen no matter who they go with, they reply with a number of stupid things like "WHY DO I NEED TO USE A COMPUTER/WHY IS EVERYTHING SO COMPLICATED/I AM JUTS GOING TO DO AWAY WITH ALL OF THIS" and i'm just like, sigh.................

I worked tech support too and good GOD if I hadn't gone through a day where someone was complaining about not knowing how to activate our software because they couldn't find their product key.

I've had reactions from curiosity to mild frustration to screaming and crying to threatening to uninstall everything and omg just pirate the software Y U MAKE THINGS SO HARD FOR US.

And I'm just "Dude, check your email."
