recently i started using an exfoliating washing on my skin. i'd always avoided it even though people suggested it just because my skin's so sensitive that it can break out over anything.

depending on your managers/full time cast members your work environment can be terrible but your fellow cps and sometimes your customers make up for it

if you're not just going for a disney job and partying, i would recommend getting into the extra bits like classes, housing street parties and karaoke nights, voluntears things like bowlathons, cast member choirs and shows if you're into that kind of thing to get the full experience

I think I read something like that once, but the way I saw it worded, it said that it'd not abnormal if kids going through puberty have mild crushes or feel like they could be attracted to their parents/close-age siblings/other family.

A new game suggested on ATP caught my interest. After reading all the info pages, it still does.

Within the span of a week, there's only been 6 people putting in holds. Would you guys consider this a bad sign about the game or am I reading into this too much? Judging from what I read here and WG, it seems like I have a naive, unknowing attraction to crap RP/ers so I don't trust my judgment anymore.

hey anons does anyone have a suggestion for a good app template? Not so much for apping into games, but just as a sheet for basic information.

Alternatively, how do you guys like to organize information for AUs of characters? Do you just leave a comment on the profile? Or do you try and fill out an application for your own bookkeeping/what-have-you? Or do you just tell people this is an AU and leave it at that?

how do you just "start over" in rp? i just want a new handle, a fresh start, my name not associated to any game/player/whatever just to cleanse my rp palette and see what friends and such i can make. new name, new plurk, idk help?

depends on if you want to make a clean break, leave behind all your old friends, or not. if you want a clean break: shut down your plurk. leave whatever game/s you're in. shut down your musebox. create a new handle, a new plurk, app a different character to a different game. do different things. talk to completely different people.

the more gradual way: change your handle. start going by that new handle. after a couple of months, create a new plurk. do tell your friends you're moving plurks, but keep the friends list small. stay out of games for a little while (museboxes/memes are fine), then app into one if you want. don't hide or keep it a big secret that you're formally xyz if it comes up; don't mention it if it does not. limit your ooc contact with people; don't go adding everyone in your game on plurk.

i often use song lyrics, but only do it if i think they fit the character. i rarely bother to put them in order or use the entirety of a song, though. for one character i only used songs from a single band, just because. then i made an aged-up account for her and picked another band to only use songs from.

So one of my favorite ships/CR (I ship it but I'd be happy just bouncing them off each other) is with characters who share a body.

Even if I were to ask around and find somebody who plays one or the other (I play both), I still can't think of a way to feasibly play them together in a game. How would you work out a way to play them in the same body in a game? On the other hand, how would you feasibly get them into different bodies? Besides "it's a jamjar just roll with it".

Before you say 'just write fic', I do write fic. I'd just also like to RP it sometime.

I need some advice, anons. Right now I'm waiting to start a job in a little over a month, but until then I'm still broke and in desperate need of employment. I've been trying to find something part-time to tide me over, but so far I've only had one callback for a callcentre job I really don't want to keep. This job also wants me to do a training program that will take about a month to complete. By the time the training is over, I'll only have a week or so before I start job #1.

I've never done a training program like this before. Do you normally get some kind of pay during it? Or any kind of compensation? They said the last week of the training is on the phones, so would at least that part pay me? I'm desperate for money, but if I'm going to spend a solid month training for a job I won't keep and only get a week's pay out of it, I feel like I could better use that time sending out more resumes. But jobs are really scare here, so if I turn this one down there's also a chance I won't find anything. Is the risk worth it?

I don't know where you are but my call centre job they paid me for the training but I work for a government department in a country with strict labour laws. You could always look into it and ask, if they say no then don't bother
