NC videos are best when they're of stuff that's honestly hard to mess up mocking (Captain Planet, Tankgirl, that one anti-drug PSA with the Muppet Babies). Otherwise when the material's short you get long stretches of extremely boring or unfunny stuff (which I feel is one of the problems of Zero Punctuation, but there it's every video.)

not to mention his ridiculously sexist sailor moon or loki videos

was sailor moon popular because girls liked having female heroes that weren't just smurfettes? no, it was popular because guys liked jerking off to it.

My question is why was he even reviewing that stuff when he literally employed Nostalgia Chick for the exact purpose of reviewing things like that?

tbh i wouldn't be surprised if it was delayed damage control after people started pointing out that hiring a girl to review 'girl' stuff was sorta sexist

I guess that made more sense when the "nostalgia" part had more attention, but not so much anymore due to premise drift - which is probably the reason for the videos, come to think of it.
