most of us have probably played them all at some point or another so hopefully some of you have advice out there. what do you do when you play a character that isn't really someone who likes to talk to or be around other people, and are generally a bit grouchy? it's not really conducive to gameplay or much CR. any tips on making them branch out without it feeling too forced?

years. i have a pair that's almost ten years old. but i'm really picky about sound systems so i'm willing to pay more. if i went with cheaper headsets they tend to last a year, maybe two.

i think it's fine. wg is where we go to be histrionic about things we don't actually care that much about, so whatever you read there, dial it back by about 9 and that's how accurate it is.

lately, it feels like i keep making dumb mistakes in memes. like, misunderstanding what the other player means. it is really frustrating.

what's your most embarrassing mistake in rp, anons?

mistyping or missing words all together such that the entire meaning of the tag is changed.

not the worst that could happen since, thankfully, the last time I fucked up with this was with a fast talking character and he could ic-ly rebound from mistakes like this no problem. I've been careful about this since, but I still end up missing words every so often.

it's happened to me several times too. there are a lot of people who like thinking about rp and talking about their characters more than they actually like rping. they'll enthusiastically plot for hours and then lose interest when it's time to actually write threads. but then they still want to plot new psls with me! so frustrating.
