my last pair of earbuds managed to last me about a year i think. which was a p big accomplishment in itself, since before that they only ever lasted me maybe three months at a time. i do tend to buy those really cheap gumi ones you can grab at walmart for like 10-15 bucks, but i finally started paying attention to how i was wrapping and pulling them around in general, and the year-long pair was also gumi but the fruits of my efforts to get my shit together

the sound started to die out in one ear after awhile on those, tho, so i bought a pair of those ipod earpods off ebay and it's been about two months since. what are anons' opinions on earpods, anyway? i don't really like the kind of earbuds that go directly inside the ear--the soft squishy black part you stick in there on some? always plugged up mine, so it was always gumis before. but i think i like these earpods well enough, and the sound quality is a bit better too
