Rundown:
rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.
Rules:
Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

(Anonymous) 2014-02-25 08:47 pm (UTC)(link)as for lyrics, i use a couple of different songs by different artists (since the journal has a premium) with lyrics and a style of music that remind me of the character. usually if i have more than a few of those and i play the character regularly, i'll make a playlist post for myself (and make one up on my ipod). lyrics come first when it comes to associating a song with a character, for me.

Re: music & poetry & keywords
(Anonymous) 2014-02-25 09:51 pm (UTC)(link)I don't listen to music much so for a few icons I searched Google and YouTube to find a song. A couple of times I had to ignore a title because I just didn't like the song at all. They didn't need to be something that I absolutely loved, but they couldn't be something I disliked.
Finding the best keywords took a lot of time but the whole process helped me to memorize the icons well. I've never had to check them to remember which keyword belongs to what icon.

(Anonymous) 2014-02-25 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)but i might also have used halo lyrics or idk locked out of heaven to be humorous, or something more obscure like hymn for the exiled if i was feeling hipster-y. it all has to do with the right feel, i guess?
