A new game suggested on ATP caught my interest. After reading all the info pages, it still does.

Within the span of a week, there's only been 6 people putting in holds. Would you guys consider this a bad sign about the game or am I reading into this too much? Judging from what I read here and WG, it seems like I have a naive, unknowing attraction to crap RP/ers so I don't trust my judgment anymore.

Go ahead and join it. They obviously could use some more players to help get things going and you joining up increases the chances of the game actually lasting.

Worst that happens is that it dies and you have to find another game, but better to at least give it a shot and more of a chance of survival.

For the record; reserves only give you a ballpark. There are games that had over 50 reserves but only 20 or so app and there has probably been cases of games getting very few reserves only to have an explosion of apps. So yeah, you might be reading a little much into it.

That said, put your reserve in and app to the game. Who cares what WG says, they'll find something to complain about regardless of whether you can spot a good or bad RP.
