The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. i admit, i like zero punctuation. i disagree with yahtzee on a lot of things but he owns his opinions and puts them in a creative way.

now is this where we can complain about how UNBELIEVABLY FUCKAWFUL the ZP intro music is?

But he doesn't; he comes up with "funny" joke opinions and redacts them whenever he's actually remotely serious (e.g. Bioshock Infinite). That's part of the reason I don't get it - the other is people that aren't fourteen year olds considering him "an example of British wit". What?

And then there's the fact that expressing any sort of dislike for his writing/style gets a ton of "you're just buttmad he disliked your game".

Okay I'll admit the second and third points are tangents - I would understand if still disagree if he was seen as a funny gag columnist, but that's not what he's held up as.

what do you mean about bioshock infinite? i haven't heard about that, thought he liked it
