possibly not exactly the rec you're looking for but: firefox containers. you make a container per account, you log in once per, and then you just open dw in the correct container (which is just 1 more mouse click) and you're logged in

That's the thing. They're NOT waiting for anything. They just love the dopamine of new tags in their inbox, especially well-crafted ones that show the other person really wants to play with them, without ever actually wanting to respond to what they've been given because that takes actual effort.

Occasionally, there will be a particular type of player who instead is waiting Venus to be in retrograde, the wind to be blowing in from the East, and for the absolute most perfect starter of all time. They also won't respond if you so much as misspell the word the as teh, but for the most part it's just happiness-chasing flakes.

Silver hair that covets the blue of the sea, and skin as white as the dry sand of the beach. Eyes that are as rare as jewels found on the streets, as diamonds as big as fists. The hue is a variation between the shallow aquarium waters, and the deepest blue at moon's rise.

It would be described that this one is fair, just as Snow White.

And in perfect composition he stands with a height to almost contrast his young age. He's physically strong, and he's got a structure for those muscles, in what which seems he would pass the time with molding. The active nature of his personality definitely shows in his physique.

There's a few scuffs and scars that add to his character, wounds long ago gained and some recently added. But in all honesty, he's that one person you'd really recommend to be in the public view, he's got the looks, the hair, and his expressions are raw and speak without even words.

Anons, I’m looking to commission icons, but it’s a character for whom no visual media exists. They’d have to be drawn from scratch. Looking at the commissions thread I can’t totally tell who is offering to actually DRAW icons instead of editing existing stuff.

I’d be okay, though, with commissioning icons of existing media as long as they fit the description of the character.

Can anyone help me out?

Sometimes I miss RP and wanna come back but then I think about some of the weird af drama that I've dealt with and think "oh hell no."

Like when my friend begged me to join her game (I played her character's BFF, her character was a lone canon warrior for the longest time) but the person who played her character's cross-canon love interest clearly hated me and I started getting anon hate on RPA/WG and my HMD and even some RPSecrets at the time felt subtly aimed at me unless I was just mega paranoid. I always suspected that she thought that I was a threat because me and my friend did PSLs shipping our BFF guys but I don't need to join a game to ship them there too when I was content with PSLs.

The anon hate "mysteriously" trickled to nothing when I quit the game (I claimed that I was swamped with real life which was true but not the main reason), I never really forgave my friend when I told her about the anon hate and she suggested that it was probably just randos trolling or people who hate our fandom starting shit. Even though I tried to ask the other player if we could thread out my dude meeting his BFF's girlfriend (future "SIL" because they're bros, haha?) and getting to know her and she seemed to have convenient excuses why she wouldn't like him. I was familiar with the girlfriend's canon and it just felt like a BS excuse tbh.

I don't even know if that player is still around but she's not even the only red-flaggy person I've known in DWRP to send me weird anon hate so I'm worried that I'll deal with another nutter... advice?

dwrp, believe it or not, has matured somewhat from a couple of years ago. the prevalence of private games and psls means if wank gets out it's not hard to figure out who's doing the wanking. that dissuades people from starting wank. anoncomms are also less forgiving of obvious grudgewank. 'be a grown-up and ignore people you don't like' is a maxim most people here follow.

i dropped dwrp nearly a decade ago and came back this year. the level of maturity i'm seeing correlates with most of the playerbase growing up. sure there's still blowouts here and there, but it seems most people nowadays are better adjusted than they were a decade ago. it's a trend that's hard to see if you've been in the hobby the whole time, but really apparent if you weren't.

i'd say give memes a try. low to no commitment. lets you test the waters.
