We hope you enjoy your stay. * Progress City is a panfandom jamjar set in a flux dimension inspired by Disney Theme Parks (particularly Walt Disney World in Florida) and the original concept for EPCOT (a city that would connect to the theme parks). The game is also inspired by the short run-Disney game, Foolish Mortals, though it's designed to be easily accessible to people who weren't part of that game. Steam has most of the Final Fantasy games on sale right now and I want to play an rpg. What’s a good starting game for someone new to the series?

I mean, the games are all unconnected and they all have their own mechanics, so its' not like there's some commonly agreed on entry point.

I guess 7 since it's the one most people start with and it has a strong opening? or 9, if you prefer a more fantasy setting/don't wanna deal with 7's fairly rough translation.

kind of a random question but does anyone happen to have a list of episodes of one piece that have kuzan in them? i want to rp him sometime but i want to rewatch his parts and i'd like to make it as painless as possible.

also is the english dub worth watching to get a better understanding of his character? it's easier for me to pick up on voice inflections and their cadence of speaking when it's in english.

eps by number no but I can rattle off the arcs off the top of my head. cross-ref with the wiki episode list and you might be able to pick out specific numbered episodes.

Aokiji first appears at the end of the Long Ring Long Land arc, which in the anime is stretched out with lots of filler so you don't see him until after the filler Foxy shit. Just those few episodes before they get to Water 7. He also obviously features in Robin's backstory (I honestly don't remember at what point in Enies Lobby those come up) and then cameos at the very end of Enies Lobby, prior to the filler.

Then he pretty much doesn't appear again until Marineford so get your box of tissues and hold on tight. Maybe check the wiki for his "history" to figure out exactly where he pops in and then pops out again, based on what he does (e.g. freezing the harbor).

After that he's outie until post-timeskip and doesn't even appear on-screen until the very end of the Punk Hazard arc. He's mentioned third-hand but I don't know if that's important to watch or to just glean from the wiki. This also doesn't include any movies because those are technically non-canon.

idk about the dub man, I actually really hate the dub because everyone sounds like a white frat boy. Aokiji has some distinctive vocal tics and phrases in the original Japanese, I can appreciate that it's hard on the brain but I also have no idea how well (or poorly) the dub incorporated them.
