do they have any kind of grasp on technology? i assume they've seen those around them make use of it, but i could easily see some ghosts returning to a body being a bit like grandparents who call their grandkids for help with their computer/television.

sleeping/needing sleep. the need to consider housing. responsibilities in general, really. the interacting with people point could be a big one if the ghost in question is the type to be glad they don't have to talk to some people or the type to talk shit about people who can't hear them to people who can.

Seconding the needing sleep thing! When I did this with a character, they would just drop asleep wherever they were at the time, because their body just couldn't stay awake any more. How do you know when you have to sleep? When you collapse on the living room floor!

It made for some great starter hooks.
