You're not alone, anon.

I spent hours logging into them and putting in new posts and making sure they all had more then 5 posts in the journal itself.

I still missed a few, but those were the ones I hadn't used at all.

I'm a big flake and I just need to come to terms with it and stop joining games. I need to leave the one I'm in, too. It's so hard to let go, though. This was such a big hobby for me for so many years.

Or maybe you should analyze why you're flaking.

Is it an issue of not having enough time? Are you not interested in the premise and plot of the game? Do you get distracted by shiny new canons? Are you less-than-satisfied with your current castmates? Are you unhappy with the OOC environment of your game? Do you allow yourself to be enabled into too many commitments? Do you have trouble getting CR?

There are various solutions to all of those problems. If it's a hobby you still enjoy, there's no reason to quit.

i can tell this person isn't interested in some crs (mine included) because they're not engaging in the threads and often give repetitive responses. meanwhile in crs they are into, they plurk about them all the time and give thought out and engaging replies.

is it kosher to crit them on this?

Personally, I'd avoid giving someone crit for their personal conduct on Plurk, or for your assumptions about how they feel about the thread. You can crit them for their repetitive, lackluster responses that don't give you much to work with. It may be an issue of your characters or roleplay styles just not clicking, though... in which case it's probably best to just drop the thread and move on.

When peole give me shitty, bland, thread-killing tags that are literally impossible to respond to because they lack anything resembling content. I sympathize with you if your character isn't a talker/socializer, but damn, man, at least give me a physical action or some introspection to work with.

PSL Prompt Ideas

I'm putting together a public list of assorted PSL ideas for people to play around with, since I frequently hear complaints of 'I want to do a PSL but I have no inspiration'. You can see what I have so far here.

I'm intending to eventually add descriptors, Wikipedia links, or subcategories to various entries. In the meantime I'm looking for suggestions on what else to add to the list. What I have no is fairly bare bones; just enough to cover the basics really.

Also: I'm considering making a monthly 'find a PSL partner' meme. Would there be any interest in such a thing? I would set it up to run the second Friday or Saturday of every month in order to avoid overlap with ATP.

ok this might be kind of weird but i need your opinions here

so recently i've been diagnosed with a mental disorder. with some medications i'm on and whatever's going on in my brain, sleep comes really really hard for me. but for my birthday my best friend bought me a little stuffed doll! with it around i've found that sleep comes a lot easier for me now, and i don't wake up multiple times during the week. i don't know if that's weird or not, or...

but ANYWAY. does anyone know anyone who takes doll commissions? i've found a few people on deviantart, but they seem a little bit on the busy side, and i don't want to bother them any

check etsy? almost everyone on there is really nice, and if you find someone whose work you like and message them and explain your deal, i'm sure they'd be happy to make a doll for you.
