don't listen to that anon! tota has totally likable characters and plus a nice plot that lies it all together, the battle system is pretty damn interesting and even the side characters and quests are really entertaining.

though desu2 is recommended to me by a friend i've seen some of its characters and story and i have to agree it looks pretty good since i haven't played it before

i honestly like the tota characters but most people have told me they find them unlikable, especially luke and guy, so that's why i said that

i guess it's up to anon to decide for themselves though

i thought for sure people would love guy, considering his honesty and backstory, though i'm not surprised they didn't like luke. i love him myself even beginning of the game but yeah people's miles vary
