there has been anime made in the past with at least some attempt at showing queerness as something besides fanservice in the past (samurai flamenco comes to mind), but it's rare and usually not very good

so i just started this and i really like it. i can see where it's going most of the time, but i appreciate it turning some of the tropes i'm expecting on its head. we'll see if it keeps doing that.

i know gacha is supposed to be dumb but it still hurts, man

my character lost their most-important-person from canon, but due to some unfortunately timed rl shit, i didn't want to play out the loss. so i put my character into a plot that essentially made their life 100 times worse, forcing them to deal with their present situation and trauma over the loss of that person.

the plot ended up being a great springboard for my character's development and eventual ship, so i'm pretty happy with my decision.

an unfamiliar fandom won't be that much different than an original work if it's written well enough

i'm glad we can raise characters to be five stars, but i'd really like to at least draw one, too.
