If eating at someone's home, it is a US custom to explain to your host why their cooking is shit, and then cry because you miss your mother's cooking, and your mother is working as a prostitute in Oakland, taking dicks up the ass just so she can make you cheeseburgers and macaroni and cheese on your next visit. Cry genuinely, cry loudly.

If you are eating at a nice restaurant, your napkin goes on your lap. If you tuck it into your shirt so it works as a bib, people will think you're kind of an asshole.
