I woke up crying hard because i dreamt about my dead mum.

She's been dead 12 years anon. I thought I was over the crying dreams.

I don't think the feeling ever goes away. Even if you haven't thought about your mother in a long time, the feeling's always lingering subconsciously. (I think. I've never studied psych, but...)

My little brother died seven years ago, but I still have dreams about him, too. When I wake up, I'm confused because I have to realize all over again that he's not here anymore.

Things like that get better with time, I think, but never really go away.

It's totally okay to cry.
