This sounds like a trip anon. I've always wanted to isekai multiple canons across different worlds a la CLAMP or the like. World building and varying group dynamics are sound like like fun. I'd be happy to give it a try if you want.

basically what i put on the last meme: i don't have much of a concrete idea in mind other than i just really want an older woman to groom a young girl (13-16) who ends up infatuated with her (but also has fits of disobedience.) we can play out the grooming, skip it, jump around in the timeline, anything works. i just want it to be like, obviously taboo and calculated on the older woman's part.

original or canon characters are fine, drawn pbs preferred. also good with futa or incest. i'd like to play the younger girl. open to basically anything besides scat.

This was me, when I actually played in memes - it was a combination of memes generally being something that scratched an itch in the moment rather than something that could form the basis of a long-term PSL, and of people not responding to me if I had a tagging gap of more than a day or two, so it didn't feel worth it to hit meme threads back if I had to not tag for a few days for whatever reason.

my problem with this entire conversation is that we're now characterizing people who continue threads for months as flakes for eventually stopping tagging those threads.

Been in this same boat. I think some people just cannot bear to say no when they're not really interested, and end up sorta stringing some partners along. The best thing we can do is set boundaries for ourselves of when we're gonna reset our expectations to zero, move on from the whole situation, and find something else to do.

You've decided to play out the aftermath of in game trauma with your character by turning him into a raging asshole who attacks anyone who tries to help him and emotionally manipulates his friends into feeling guilty for not caring about him.

I don't know how to say this to your face so I'll say it here: this is making playing with you emotionally draining and a complete chore and I'm starting to dread being tagged by you. If I knew this was going to be the outcome I never would have volunteered to help you with this plot. Your justification for this is weak and it's been going on for far too long. I hope you figure out soon why everyone is avoiding you.

damn, that's honestly indistinguishable from a parody bit you'd see during adult swim or something. was interested enough to check its wikipedia page, and there's this very funny passage:

I could have written this.

In my case the traumatised character is demanding all of his CR pick between him and the character who hurt him in a way that is clearly pushing that character out of the game, and even though my character would pick him it's really hard to be cut off from CR with a player I enjoy.

Sorry anon. I hate when players do things like that. It's incredibly unfair for one player to force other players to choose between their CR, especially when it leaves the other character out in the cold. Being ICly/OOCly bullied into making an IC decision you don't want to make fucking sucks. I would see this as a massive red flag that this player is controlling and a bully who will do the same thing to you if you don't do as they say.

shit like this always reminds me that it really isn't that hard to reason your way from peoples' preferences for where they'd like their CR to go to how your character should behave in order to make that happen, at least in most cases. critical skill in a game context imo.

There are too many people in this hobby who act like they're being controlled by their character rather than the other way around. "He will always act this way". No, he won't, because you're the one making the choices, he is a fictional character who doesn't exist. The player is the one choosing to bully their friends out of the CR they've been enjoying. If you can't figure out a way to justify making a better choice, you're a bad RPer.

then that's kind of a you problem and not a the rest of us problem. why don't you choose kindness and compassion, assume we have a very good reason for responding the way we do, and keep on scrolling?

i've done it for one character who did it in canon. it got good reception from people who were canon familiar but it did get weird looks from people who didn't. nobody seemed actively offended, just kinda weirded out.

if you're okay with that then go for it.

I see lots of characters who I would love to tag, who I think would be really interesting to write with even if I don't know the canon, whose kinks and prefs match mine really well, etc.

But I don't think any of the, like, three characters I actually can play are going to excite the other person

I feel bad because they usually aren't getting tagged by other people either, but I also don't want to have the mindset of "well, if nobody else is tagging them, they'll just be glad for my tags"

Why does everyone always want to play the victim/submissive side of smut, I swear to god any time I scroll past the kinks you want to play thread its almost always someone that wants their underage girl or kawaii uke boy dominated and railed by some big scawy man or their mom or something.
