Fic is a good gateway since you can just write the filthiest stuff without getting hung up on being self-conscious about playing with someone else.

Also try threading privately with friends who are more experienced with writing smut and are relaxed about it. If you want to expand beyond that I actually do recommend joining a locked sex game because you're mingling with other people to write porn with but it's still in a more private space than memes. Alternatively you can make separate alts just for memes/anonymous psls to test the waters if you don't want to commit to a game.

Another thing: don't be afraid to be direct about your preferences and make a list for them, even if you feel they're vanilla. Using f-list to do that can be super overwhelming when you're getting started with this because it has a lot of out there stuff listed so maybe just try making a simple list of things you do and don't want to play on your character's journal. It's really handy as a springboard for thread ideas and for connecting with people who have similar tastes to yours.

if person 1 submitted their app first, and did it before person 2 put in their reserve, then i would review person 1's app. person 2 might have put in a reserve, but person 1 submitted an app before that so it doesn't matter.

if person 1 submitted their app first, but did it after person 2 reserved, then i wouldn't accept their app and instead look at person 2's first. person 2 had the reserve, so it's only fair they get the first priority regardless of when they submit their app.

i did the skin w the extra fel veins and for the blindfold i picked the opaque black one that hangs partially over the face because im an edgelord. horns/tattoos are a both strong yes, and i picked the brightest green color for the latter. dhs look weird to me w/o them tbh... i don't even really like the non-green colors for tattoos. :<

the technology is coming, but that doesn't mean that it's going to be so widely used that everyone is going to be out of a job. having the technology doesn't mean the logistics will all be figured out and that consumers will just accept it.

for example, we have the technology for self-driving cars, and they want to use it for taxi services, but i can guarantee that taxi drivers are not going to be completely out of a job by the end of the year because customers are not going to want to get into a car with no driver.

A few more to come, I hope :D! With the Netflix formula, I'd be happy enough with three seasons -- start-middle-end, as it were. I will not complain with two more for the sake of indulgence. I think The Light's a different thing. I don't think it's random that the voice clip they chose for that scene was Shiro handing leadership over to Keith. We're speculating over on plurk that if it's not Shiro dying (which I hope to all things good will not happen), it could be that he figures he's the reason why Zarkon keeps finding them and so he'll give himself up / phone home to Haggar to save the others TT^TT .

If that happens, then it would effectively callback to what Sendak said in Crystal Venom: "We're connected, you and me. Both part of the Galra Empire."
