they were confused by he mini yield signs painted on the road in the event the yield sign got knocked down and believed it was arrows pointing which way to go (into oncoming traffic)

if you don't think it'd saved everyone time and effort for them to just google, or like, use their brain to deduct that triangles on a road near a yield sign in a left-turn lane where there is literally nowhere else to go from there but left into the parking lot

i've... done a lot of traveling and i've seen them in many different states, but okay, we'll go with them never having seen them before. that doesn't change the fact that upside down triangles were literally right beside an actual yield sign, which is ALSO AN UPSIDE DOWN TRIANGLE... and they still didn't get it. or couldn't at least google

not to mention, they thought the yield strip was pointing in the direction they should have been driving. when there was a turn symbol also painted on the road that contradicted that

fuck, the PICTURE ITSELF showed a FUCKING CAR going the correct direction and they still thought the yield strip wanted them to go the other way

the situation didn't come up while yieldanon was driving. yieldanon literally posted screencaps from googlemaps and asked a bunch of questions about what they should do. if they could do THAT, then they damn well had the fucking time to google what white triangles painted on the road means, instead of whining and defending themselves on rpa
