Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not post personal information. This includes but is not limited to full names, addresses, phone numbers and so on.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.

Had a random OC's thing I thought was really fun fall apart, RL happened on both sides (and I did reach out after a month or so to check in) which is understandable but man I miss that lightning bottle

People need to learn to tag out more on bakerstreet. I'm scrolling and scrolling, looking at heaps of people from the same fandom parking themselves in memes and waiting to for someone to do the work for them. Go tag each other! Do you all hate each other or what?

rp partner's nearly constant insecurities about our threads is wearing me down and making me not want to write with them anymore. yes, we've talked about it extensively, but they're always worried and anxious anyway and it's driving me crazy. there's only so much reassuring i can do before it feels pointless.

Been feeling nostalgic for a game I was in a really long time ago from when RPing through individual journals was common, so I've been reading some of my old threads only to find that several players I had close CR with restricted their journals so I can't see those threads anymore.

I get why they do it, but it's just a little sad for me.

I had a great thread with a stranger who dropped the thread and the more I've been RPing in this fandom the more I'm seeing they were one of the best players in it. lol. I don't want to bother them in another thread.

Wanting/trying to app into a particular game, but every app window that comes around, something IRL happens to interfere with my ability to sit down and write the app. Several friends on Plurk have app'ed and gotten accepted, so now I'm trying not to gaze longingly at their CR/plotting Plurks like a Dickensian orphan gazing through a frosted window at someone's Christmas celebration. Mind you, I'm happy for them, I just wish I was there happy *with* them.

there's this cr i really like and the player keeps reaching out to me to do things and then when i say yes, they completely disappear. in one case, they went on to plan the same thing they asked me about with someone else. I'M JUST CONFUSED.
