There has been solid evidence sent to me that a banned individual has been soliciting people for commissions. I won't name this person directly (though there are deets available on WG post 229 if you care to look) but this person is known for repeated ban evasions and for responding with threats, accusations of abuse, and hostility when they feel they are not getting what they want. It's also possible (though not solidly confirmed) that this person doesn't actually have access to money to pay for said commissions.

Ultimately, if someone wants to work with this person, it's their choice- but let it be an informed one.

I had an idea to try out some ultra-shortform "games" as a sort of experiment to see if people would respond to TDM-style meme posts on Bakerstreet

the idea revolves around putting up a TDM-style post with a few different prompts plus an arrival prompt and some description of the world they take place in, once a week for a certain amount of time, and then that's it. so for instance it might be a horror world where the prompts are horror themed, and it would last 3 weeks (so there would be 3 posts total) and then it ends. each new post would either have completely new prompts or might continue a story from the previous post, either way it would functionally be a TDM for a tiny game that only exists in those posts. people can establish and continue CR from one post to the next and so on.

thoughts? good idea/bad idea?

RPing a character with a high sex drive, and I personally have a very low one (Yeah, I know I'm not the character, but getting into the mood for that aspect takes a little longer than their many other facets). This causes me to be a bit slow tagging back on romance/smut-related threads. I also have a very thirsty RP partner, and this is starting to make the character a bit of a chore to RP. Thoughts?

Two identical twin sisters (Twin A, Twin B) are hanging out. A random guy offers them $20 if they kiss. They accept, kiss, take the money, and the guy leaves, never to enter their lives again.

However, Twin A can't get the kiss out of her mind and it leads to her becoming infatuated with Twin B.

At this point, it could go several different ways:
1. Twin A is scandalized and hates herself for her taboo feelings. Twin B realizes what's going on and decides to seduce her. Twin A gives in.
2. Twin A gets consumed with sexual desire to the point she upfront tells Twin B and begs her to help her. Twin B is weirded out, but reluctantly agrees.
3. Twin A goes full yandere and forces herself on Twin B. Could include the use of alcohol/drugs/aphrodisiacs, bindings, and/or full scale imprisonment.

I want to play Twin A. Non-LA pbs preferred.

Something either played seriously, like Tomoe Mami from The Different Story in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, in the sense that she pretends she has her shit together but is in truth a carousel of issues; or for comedy, like Ciaphas Cain (HERO OF THE IMPERIUM) from Warhammer 40k, in which his cowardly acts somehow end up saving the day and doesn't have the heart to tell everyone he's a fraud.

But, I want something that is neither wangsting endlessly, nor a tiny modest trait. I mean characters that feel (justifiably half the time) that they are not anywhere near as competent as people think they are, and fear their house of lies will crumble down at any moment, but keep doing so because so many people look up to them and trust them.

i'm not here to rp. like i don't leave ppl hanging and i don't drop threads unless agreed to w/ the other person. but i'm also mostly here bc i really want companionship for fandoms i'm in. the places where my fandom usually congregates (ie. twitter, tumblr) are so stressful and anxiety inducing. this place is so much calmer.

I like events that have long-lasting consequences on the game. Even if it's just on the characters' psyche or their memory, in general, I'm a plot lover so having my character grow and change through event experiences is my fave. Also seeing how CR changes through them too. I think it would be great if events pair up people who don't have CR so we can spread it around. I haven't really seen much of this but an event where it's randomized who you're paired up with or put into a little group of people who aren't your closest CR.

I don't like events that have no consequences, obviously. I also hate the illusion of choice when you claim that players are voting on something but have already decided what will happen so it's kind of pointless.
